In 2000 I commenced to learn square dancing and  discovered ROUND DANCING.   In 2002/3 I joined All Rhythm Rounds with Ray and Pam Deamer.  When All Rhythm Rounds closed temporarily, I continued my learning with Pegasus Rounds.  When Peninsula Rounds moved closer to Melbourne I continued  with the best round dance teachers ever  - Mike and Beryl Harcourt.  I commenced my cueing traineeship with Ella Whyte and completed this under the expert guidance of Beryl Harcourt and Paula Armstrong, Qld..  I started KINTYRE Dance Club 6 years ago and  enjoy the infectious enthusiasm shown by KINTYRE dancers.  I travel interstate yearly to attend round dance ‘boot camps’ and ‘teach’ weekends conducted by international dance teachers.  I am a member of two ROUNDALAB Committees;  have attended 11 National Conventions and cued at seven;  I have attended 12 State Conventions as of 2015.   As a Leader/Cuer, I am constantly rewarded by the enjoyment of the dancers.
